Welcome to St Alphonsus Catholic Primary School.

I am honoured to serve the wonderful community of North Ormesby and feel incredibly proud to lead St Alphonsus Catholic Primary School, part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust.

St Alphonsus’ is a welcoming and inclusive Catholic school where every member of our school family is valued, respected and cared for. We believe that every child is unique and precious in the eyes of God, and we are committed to supporting our children to reach their full potential and to become the very best that they can be.

Our Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do. With Christ at the centre of our school community, we strive to live out our mission to Learn, Serve and Love with Christ. Through our faith and our strong relationships, we encourage our children to grow in confidence, compassion and respect, knowing that they are loved by God and have an important part to play in our school and wider community.

Our dedicated staff team are committed to knowing and understanding each child as an individual, nurturing their talents, celebrating their achievements and providing the encouragement and support they need to flourish. Our rich and ambitious curriculum provides our children with a wide range of opportunities to learn and develop their knowledge and skills, enabling them to be curious, enthusiastic learners. Through engaging learning experiences, we aim to inspire every child to recognise their strengths, develop their talents and nurture a love for learning.

We work closely with our families, parish and local community to create a school where children feel safe, happy, valued and inspired to learn. We want every child who walks through our doors to feel that they belong and to leave us with a strong sense of faith, purpose and the confidence to embrace all that life has to offer.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website – we hope it gives you a sense of the warmth, faith and ambition that makes St Alphonsus’ such a special place. If you wish to find out more about us, we encourage you to come and visit us – see us in action and meet our staff and children. A call to the school office on 01642 243400 is all that is needed to arrange this.

We look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful school!
